NEW HOMES

Spray polyurethane foam maximizes the energy efficiency of your new home or building. We Offer complete spray foam insulation for a better seal and R-value than it's fiberglass counterpart.

Existing Buildings

Complete Comfort Insulation specializes in the re-insulation of existing buildings and structures. With spray polyurethane insulation we are adding a greater R-Value per inch and a tighter seal. This can reduce energy loss and infiltration (air leaking through gaps and cracks) and conduction (heat passing through windows, walls, and doors). Improving the efficiency of the building envelope can be one of the most effective ways to cut energy costs. Heating and cooling costs may be cut by 40%.

REMODELS

Spray polyurethane foam is ideal for the tough to reach places that become present during your remodel. It can reach and seal most spots that fiberglass insulation can not. SPF may be needed in some remodels to gain maximum R-value to meet official code requirements.

RIM JOISTS

Rim joist areas can now be insulated more efficiently with a better seal. Spray foam Insulation is sprayed on the joist area giving it maximum seal and adding a vapor barrier for better protection.

ATTICS

Complete Comfort Insulation offers a couple different options to insulate your attic space. For vented attics: Spray foam is applied directly to the floor of the attic insulating the ceiling from seasonal hot and cold temperatures.
Spray Polyurethane foam can also be applied to the underside of the roof deck in between joists. This is considered to be a hot roof.

CRAWL SPACES

A crawl space is usually an unfinished, yet accessible, area below the first floor of a building or home. If the space below the floor is unconditioned, either the floor or walls must be insulated as If the area were conditioned than insulating only the walls and leaving the floor non-insulated will allow the warm air below to heat the floor above. If the area below is unconditioned than the floor acts like a cold floor and should be insulated as well.

SOUND PROOFING

In this case, is the process of applying spray insulation to dampen and muffle reverberation. Sound travels from it's source moving in multiple directions. These waves travel until they hit a point of resistance such as a walls, floors, or ceiling causing reverberation. The purpose of soundproofing is to absorb these sounds waves and reduce vibrations.

HOT ROOFS

A hot roof is going to be a situation where the SPF is applied directly to the roof deck either in an attic area or a living space of an older home or structure. This eliminates ventilation from the roof after the entire area is sprayed and sealed. It's a great option  when trying to achieve a higher R-value in a smaller space.

COLD FLOOR AREAS

A cold floor area is an overhang of living space with an unconditioned underside. Ie: (Porches, and bonus rooms). Spray foam polyurethane is applied to the underside to achieve an greater R-value, and a tighter seal, keeping cold air out.

SPF Paints

The international building code (IBC) mandates that spray polyurethane Foam (spf) is to be separated from the interior of the building by a fifteen minute thermal barrier or other approved covering. (Section 803.1.2 2009 IBC.) DC315 is a fireproof paint used with foam that meets VOC emissions tests.

ICE HOUSES

If you’ve been in an ice house you know how cold it can get on the ice. The latest model retractable ice houses don’t necessarily come with the floor insulated. Whether you build one or purchase one; the ice, snow and freezing water temps are still below you radiating the cold up. Spray polyurethane foam, applied to the underside of your floor is a great way to keep the heat in, and the cold out.

Industrial

Spray polyurethane foam can be applied to your silos, bins, storage tanks, water tanks, etc. It can be applied to almost any equipment that requires a constant temperature, or act as a tight water seal. SPF adheres well to tanks, increasing there R-value. This reduces the heating and cooling costs associated with such tanks.

Fun Facts!

  • R-Value means resistance to heat flow; the higher the R-value the greater insulating value.

  • Studies have shown that as much as 40% of buildings total energy is loss due to air infiltration.
